Northside College Preparatory High School
Chicago, Illinois
Northside College Preparatory High School in Chicago, Illinois was built in 1998. It was the first new Chicago Public School (CPS) high school built in 20 years.
Walter Payton College Prep
Chicago, Illinois
Walter Payton College Prep is in the heart of downtown Chicago, this 162,500-sf facility is organized as two separate buildings connected by an atrium enclosing and internal “street.” The academic wing houses teaching functions, including 21 classrooms, 12 laboratories, a greenhouse, planetarium and weather station.suspendisse ultrices.
The 7th District Police Station
Chicago, Illinois
The 7th District Police Station is located on the northwest corner of South Loomis and West 63rd Street and is a 2 story, 44,000-square-foot masonry structure. This project was designed to achieve the goal of LEED “Gold” Certification and includes a “Green” roof over 50% of the roof area, a turbine generator waste heat recovery system, and a sophisticated building energy management system.
The Willard Hall Renovation
Chicago, Illinois
The Willard Hall Renovation is the centerpiece of a collegiate residential neighborhood. The lower level is dedicated for use by all students and was reconfigured to house a café, and seminar room. The building systems which were original to the building were at the end of their useful life and were completely replaced. The goal of the renovation was to provide an active and engaging living-learning environment with a focus on creating a sense of home.
Johnson Family Hall
South Bend, Indiana
Johnson Family Hall is one of the 32 residence halls at the University of Notre Dame. It is located east of Dunne Hall and north of McCourtney Hall in the East Quadrangle. It is the newest women’s residence hall, built in 2019-2020. Johnson Family Hall is a four-story 68,000 square feet large and hosts 225 undergraduate women.
Gwendolyn Brooks College Preparatory Academy
Chicago, Illinois
Gwendolyn Brooks College Preparatory Academy is a selective enrollment high school located in the historic Pullman district of Roseland. The school is named after Gwendolyn Brooks, a native Chicagoan and the first African American poet to win the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry. This was the PBC’s second project at Brooks College Prep; the first was the baseball field adjacent to the football field which was constructed by the same team.
McDade Classical School
Chicago, Illinois
McDade Classical School is designed to provide a challenging liberal arts education to academically talented students. The curriculum is accelerated in reading and mathematics, language arts, and the humanities. This addition brings much needed resources to this southside neighborhood.
The Gift of Hope
Chicago, Illinois
The 50,000-square-foot building on 7936 S. Cottage Grove Ave. —once home to Urban Partnership Bank—has been renovated and is now The Gift of Hope’s new South Side outpost. The building is a community hub and offers a variety of services for residents. Up to 22,000 square feet of space will be available for allied healthcare partners to lease if they are interested in becoming part of the community.
The Park Station Lofts
Chicago, Illinois
The Park Station Lofts development brings 58 apartments, 41 of which are affordable; two “live-work” units with retail and residential aspects; and three retail spaces to a formerly vacant lot at 835-861 E. 63rd St. in Woodlawn. A transit-oriented housing development next to the Cottage Grove Green Line station will bring affordable housing, community services and shops to Woodlawn.
